Chairman Daniel Levy has refused to rule out a Tottenham return for Harry Kane in a rare interview.
Kane left the club in the summer to join the Bundesliga champions and join forces with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel in Bavaria.
The 31-year-old recently helped his new side defeat Manchester United 4-3 in their Champions League group stage opener, scoring his team’s third goal from the penalty spot.
Spurs had rejected bids from Bayern and offered Kane an improved deal, before finally agreeing to let him leave.
Levy recently disclosed a ‘buyback’ clause inserted into the England captain’s contract while speaking at a fan event.
Now, in a rare interview with Bloomberg, Levy has opened up on the clause in Kane’s contract, which could see him return to north London in the future.

“If I am honest, the actual precise detail of the contract with Bayern Munich, should remain confidential,” Levy said.
“All I would say is if one day Harry wants to come back to the Premier League, and he wants to come to Tottenham, we would have the ability to re-purchase him. Who knows.”
Of course, his comments have got Tottenham fans dreaming, but Kane is solely set on guiding Bayern to glory and getting his hands on his first ever trophy.
Kane is Spurs’ all-time record scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances across all competitions.
The Spurs chairman also opened up on Kane’s situation, revealing the player never came to him expressing his desire to leave.
“It was never really like that with Harry. So, Harry was willing to stay, but he wasn’t willing this summer to sign a new contact.
“He didn’t say, to me, that he wanted to leave, and didn’t say he would never sign new contract, but he wouldn’t commit this summer.
“And of course, we were in a very difficult position. Had one year on his contract, and as a club, as I said, we’re self-sufficient.
“We couldn’t live in a dream that he would sign a contract, we had no guarantee.
“And, therefore, when Bayern Munich came along, he was willing to go, and we agreed a deal.”
