Arsenal v Liverpool LIVE reaction: Jota brace earns spot in Carabao Cup final

Liverpool have secured their place in the Carabao Cup final with a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were comfortable throughout and got their reward thanks to a Diogo Jota goal in each half.

Mikel Arteta’s side had their moments, particularly in the first half, but it wasn’t enough to topple the Reds with things being made worse as Thomas Partey was sent off in the 90th minute of the game.

As a result the Reds will face Chelsea in the showpiece event at Wembley Stadium next month.
